Southern Region

REGIONS

The Church of God in the Southern Region in Africa is in most places known as Full Gospel Church of God, as it has its roots in the amalgamation agreement in 1954 between the Church of God in Cleveland TN and the Full Gospel Church in South Africa.

Those countries under CoG Africa Southern region are: Botswana, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique (FGCoG), Namibia, Reunion, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. The region under the leadership of the Regional Superintendent also works in relationship with the Full Gospel Church Of God in South Africa with its HQ in Irene.

Current Position:
Regional Superintendent for Southern Africa Region (World Missions) since January 2015 - now
Regional Overseer - Durban Central Region A since April 2008 (FGC).
Member of the Executive Council (recently re-elected for another 4 year term)

Senior Pastor of Kinross FGC Mpumalanga 1986 -1990 and Middelburg FGC 1990-1992
Senior Pastor - Malmesbury : FGC 1993-2001
Opened Bible school for leaders and ran it for three years
Regional Secretary : Western Cape 1995 - June 2000
Provincial Chairperson : Western Cape June 2000 - December 2001
Senior Pastor : Living Waters Mission FGC (January 2002 –March 2008)
Established 5 churches in Zambia with LWM Church
Senior Pastor : Eden FGC 2008 - 2010
Elected as Regional Overseer 2008 - full time from 2010 overseeing 35 churches with 43 pastors

Main Functions
As Pastor : to manage the daily requirements in the church, oversee all activities and administrations.
As Provincial Chairman : to oversee spiritual upliftment of all pastoral couples in the province. Mediate all conflict situations. As the regional overseer be the pastor to the pastors. I also serve as member of the Executive Council of the FGC
